To provide a building capable of preventing horizontal force from concentrating on a part of columns in an earthquake and a strong wind.SOLUTION: A building includes: an oblique floor portion 3; a horizontal floor portion 4; a first column 51 (a first support column); a second column 52 (a second support column); and a third column 53 (a third support column). The oblique floor portion 3 includes an oblique beam 31 extending in an oblique direction and connected with the first column 51, the second column 52 and the third column 53. The horizontal floor portion 4 includes: a first horizontal beam (a horizontal beam) 41 extending in a building short side direction (a first horizontal direction) and joined with the second column 52 and the third column 53; and a horizontal brace 44 and a floor slab 45 joined with the first horizontal beam 41. The building includes a vertical brace 6 provided in a vertical face surrounded by the first horizontal beam 41, the second column 52 and the third column 53 which are respectively joined with the first horizontal beam 41 and adjacent to each other in the building short side direction, and a ground.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
