Abstract:
To provide a thick wall body and a building which enhance functionality by adding a function other than protecting a building to the thick wall body provided as a part of an outer peripheral wall and improve disaster response capability in the building.SOLUTION: A thick wall body 7, which is provided as a part of the outer peripheral wall of the building 1 and is formed thicker than the other thin wall of the outer peripheral wall, has a plurality of sidewall parts SW constituting side surfaces of the thick wall body 7, an internal hollow part HP formed at a position surrounded by the plurality of sidewall portions SW, and lifeline equipment (charging control device 40, rainwater tank equipment 41) which is stored in the internal hollow part HP and can be used at least at in the event of a disaster, and an opening part 7a for communicating the internal hollow part HP with the outside is formed in any one of the sidewall parts SW among the plurality of sidewall parts SW.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
