Abstract:
To provide a bundle bind detector capable of detecting a poor bind of a sheet bundle PA with greater correctness.SOLUTION: A bundle bind detector includes a needleless binder 19 that forms an uneven shape 208 in a part of a sheet bundle PA and binds the sheet bundle and a spur unit 31 that detects the uneven shape 208 formed in a part of the sheet bundle PA. This makes it possible to detect a poor bind of the sheet bundle with greater correctness even if, for example, normal pressure is exerted to the sheet bundle by the needleless binder 19 or the sheet bundle is not to be normally bound due to a sheet strength or the like.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
