PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the life of a combustor.SOLUTION: A combustor comprises: a nozzle having a rod part centering about a burner axis Ab and injecting fuel; a burner cylinder 43 having a cylindrical shape, surrounding an outer circumference of the nozzle, and injecting air and the fuel from the nozzle; and an outer flow passage cylinder 60 surrounding an outer circumference of at least a downstream end portion of the burner cylinder 43, and forming a purge air flow passage 66 which is disposed between an outer circumference side of the burner cylinder 43 and an inner cylinder side of the outer flow passage cylinder 60 and in which air A1 flows. A tapered surface 50 is formed in the downstream end portion of the burner cylinder 43 so that a burner cylinder formation plate 49 that forms the burner cylinder 43 is gradually thinner toward a downstream side, and a tapered surface formation width t1 of the tapered surface 50 in a thickness direction is equal to or larger than half of a thickness t of a portion of the burner cylinder formation plate 49 in which the tapered surface 50 is not formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
