Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera, an image compositing method, and a program for representing a panoramic, expansive feel, and a movement of an object in a magnificent background image without the need of preparing a special wide-angle lens.SOLUTION: Every time image data of each frame that constitutes a moving image is output to a first buffer 5a from an imaging unit 3, a partial background image and a margin part are temporarily stored in a third buffer 5d, and then output to a composition unit 7a. Every time the partial background image is output, the composition unit 7a attaches the partial background images to one another so that a part of the partial background image overlaps the margin part so as to create a background image.
