Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep computational accuracy of an actual capacity constant in response to deterioration of a power storage element.SOLUTION: A capacity computing device 1 for calculating the actual capacity of a lithium ion secondary battery 2 includes: a memory 14 which stores tables indicating a correlation between a voltage and a charge rate obtained in advance of a secondary battery; and a CPU 13 which computes the actual capacity by referring to the tables stored in the memory 14. The CPU 13 computes the actual capacity by utilizing a portion corresponding to a range of a part of a predetermined charge rate in the correlation.
