Abstract:
To provide a capping apparatus that prevents buckling or deformation at a peripheral wall of a cap or a spout for a container even when a support arm is biased toward an inner peripheral side of a capping head with strong biasing force.SOLUTION: There is provided a capping apparatus comprising a capping head 1 rotated about a shaft line O, a roller arm 6 arranged at an outer peripheral part of the capping head 1, rotatable around a support shaft L1 which is parallel to the shaft line O, and extending to an outer peripheral side of the support shaft L1 to bias a tip part 6a toward an inner peripheral side of the capping head 1, a forming roller 8 supported by the tip part 6a of the roller arm 6 and rotatable about a roller shaft L2 extending in an extending direction of the support shaft L1, and positioning means 9 for positioning a rotational position of the roller arm 6 to the inner peripheral side of the capping head 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
