Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for collecting metals in sea water, which is capable of easily recovering a collecting material moored in sea water, has excellent performance from the view point of cost and is free from affecting the navigation of ships. SOLUTION: The device for collecting metals in sea water is formed by arranging alternately a braid like grounding part 2 having a built-in anchor and a braid like floating part 4 having a built-in float and providing many collecting members 5 each provided with a metal adsorbent adsorbing the metals in the sea water on the surface at least in the floating part 4 to float the floating part 4 from the grounding part 2 dropped to the sea bottom and to drift the collecting members in the sea water.
