Abstract:

To provide a card conveyance device which can reliably adjust a rotation position, when driving a card inversion unit.SOLUTION: A card issue device 1 is a card conveyance device which conveys a card. The card inversion unit 60 includes a card holding unit 62 which temporarily holds the card 2, and rotates the card 2 within the card holding unit 62 in association with a plurality of positions. A stepping motor 61 drives the card inversion unit 60. A rotational position detection sensor group 70 detects that the card inversion unit 60 resides in any of the plurality of positions. A control unit 10 determines whether or not the stepping motor 61 is in a magnetized state, when driving the card inversion unit 60; and drives the stepping motor 61 up to the position where one of sensors turns on from off, and further drives the motor from the position where the sensor turned on to a destination position, when it is not in the magnetized state, and any of sensors of the rotational position detection sensor group 70 are turned off.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
