Abstract:
To provide a carton folding device capable of easily changing a carton height and providing good carton appearance after packaging.SOLUTION: In a case of lowering a height of a carton 2, the carton 2 is placed on a table 5 and then is stopped at a required height. Then, a slit 2Da is provided downwardly at a corner part 2D by using a cutter knife. On this occasion, when the cutter knife being cutting down contacts with an upper end part 6B of a folding component 6, that spot becomes a bottom edge of the slit 2Da and the height becomes approximately the same as a top face of an accommodation object. Then, when an upper part of a side face 2A is folded outwardly by using the upper end part 6B of the folding component 6 as a support part, a linear folding line 2Aa is formed. When the folding line 2Aa is formed at four points of the side faces 2A, the upper part of each side face 2A is folded at the position of each folding line 2Aa after an accommodation object is put in the carton 2, then required positions are taped to complete the packaging.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
