Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge for measuring use and a liquid feeding method that can help restrain contamination with corpuscle components when transferring centrifugally separated plasma components and thereby enhance the accuracy of measuring plasma components.SOLUTION: A cartridge for measuring use 10, comprising a first reservoir unit 31 and a second reservoir unit 32 which is arranged in a direction away from the first reservoir unit 31 relative to a rotation shaft 20 and whose width in the direction of rotation around the rotation shaft 20 is greater than that of the first reservoir unit 31, is equipped with a separating chamber 30 that separates a blood specimen into corpuscle components and plasma components by utilizing the centrifugal force of rotation around the rotation shaft 20 and with channels linked to the inner wall or walls of at least either the first reservoir unit 31 or the second reservoir unit 32. These channels include a channel 63 for moving the blood specimen inputted from a specimen inlet 61 to the separating chamber 30 and a channel 50 for moving plasma components separated in the separating chamber 30 by capillarity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
