Abstract:
A cassette is provided which can be downsized in a direction orthogonal to an up-down direction. The cassette includes a ribbon case 21 including a first side wall 16a extending in a second direction orthogonal to a first direction, a second side wall 16b extending in a third direction orthogonal to the first direction and intersecting the second direction, and a recess wall 16c extending toward one side in the second direction from the second wall 16b and extending in the third direction on one side in the second direction further than the second side wall 16b to define a recess 99. At least a portion of the recess 99 overlaps a printing tape roll 26 in the first direction. As a tape case 20 including the printing tape roll 26 and the ribbon case 21 including the recess wall 16c overlap each other in the first direction, that is, the up-down direction, and at least a portion of the recess 99 overlaps the printing tape roll 26 in the first direction, the cassette 10 is thus downsized in a direction orthogonal to the up-down direction.
