Abstract:
To provide a catalyst for producing a hydrocarbon from a synthetic gas which can be stably used even under high CO conversion ratio conditions in which a large amount of by-product water is generated by improving durability, especially enhancing water resistance of a catalyst for producing a hydrocarbon from a synthetic gas, and to provide a method for producing the catalyst, a method for producing a hydrocarbon using the catalyst and a catalyst carrier using the catalyst.SOLUTION: There is provided a catalyst prepared by supporting cobalt on a catalyst carrier mainly composed of silica as a catalyst for producing a hydrocarbon from a synthetic gas. The catalyst has a vanadium content of 0.1 to 10 mass% and the impurity content of sodium, calcium and magnesium in the catalyst is 0.01 to 0.15 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
