Abstract:
To provide (i) a cement composition that contains scallop shell crushed sand and can yield a hardened body with good stiffness, bending strength, and appearance, and (ii) a cement composition that has moderate fluidity and viscosity and can be applied to 3D printer discharge applications.SOLUTION: Provided herein are a cement composition and a variant thereof, wherein the cement composition comprises a hydraulic material, water, and fine aggregate, wherein the fine aggregate contains 10 mass% to 70 mass% of scallop shell crushed sand relative to the total mass of the fine aggregate, the scallop shell crushed sand being a classified product of crushed scallop shells having a maximum particle size of 0.5 mm to 4.0 mm and an aspect ratio in the range of 1 to 25.SELECTED DRAWING: None
