Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel cement setting retarder in such a manner that the setting retarders meeting various purposes and applications can be supplied and a curing accelerator. SOLUTION: This setting retarder consists of basic cupric carbonate containing one or >=2 kinds of malachite, azurite and cupric carbonate dihydroxide. This method for manufacturing cement consists in adding and mixing this retarder to and with the uncured cement composition, then adding and mixing the curing accelerator to and with this mixture. Urea, sulfite, gypsum, etc., are used for the curing accelerator.
