Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic heater capable of more reliably suppressing a substrate from being damaged, and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a ceramic heater including a substrate and a heating element includes: (a) a step of preparing an element molded body that is an intermediate molded body of the heating element; (b) a step of preparing a ceramic heater intermediate molded body in which the element molded body is embedded in an intermediate molded body of the substrate; and (c) a step of firing the ceramic heater intermediate molded body in a firing furnace while pressing the ceramic heater intermediate molded body. The step (c) includes: (c1) a step of depressurizing the inside of the firing furnace to be set to a vacuum state; (c2) a step of rising temperature inside the firing furnace after the inside of the firing furnace has been set to a vacuum state; and (c3) a step of introducing gas containing nitrogen into the firing furnace in the middle of rising temperature inside the firing furnace.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
