PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swing mechanism for swinging a headrest of a chair that gives a degree of freedom to an arrangement position of a drive motor, and prevents the motor from being subjected to an excessive load even when force for blocking the swing of the headrest is applied, a headrest equipped with the mechanism, and a chair equipped with the headrest.SOLUTION: A headrest swing mechanism that swings a headrest of a chair includes: a headrest support disposed on the upper part of a back seat in a protruding manner; a slider fixed to the back face of the headrest and slidably mounted on the headrest support; a motor as drive means for swinging the slider in a right-left or front-back direction; and a tension member wound around or rolled up by the motor. The end part of the tension member is fixed to the vicinity of the end part of the slider.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
