To provide a chair that a carrier person can easily lift up without bending the waist, and further to provide a small-sized vehicle having this chair.
This chair comprises: a base; a leg rod 10 set upright at the base; a flat plate mounted at the upper end of the leg rod; a seat member 20 where its seat plate is arranged at the flat plate, a location near the front end of the seat plate is pivoted at a place near the front end of the flat plate and can be pivoted forward from a normal position placed at the upper surface of the flat plate toward the folded position where it is upright; an engagement member fixed near the front end of the upper surface of the flat plate and formed with a first engagement part at its back surface; and an engagement rod that extends in a forward or rearward direction at its normal position at the rear surface of the seat plate, having its rear end protruded out of the lower surface, mounted to enable itself to be moved in a forward or rearward direction upon operation at its rear end, having its front end abutted against, engaged with the first engagement part from its back side in its normal position through its operation and enabling the seat member to be fixed in the normal position.
