PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a characteristic detection device capable of accurately detecting fuel injection characteristics of a plurality of fuel injection valves with a simple constitution.SOLUTION: A plurality of pipe members 40 are disposed in a manner that they can be respectively communicated to the inside of fuel injection valves 30 at one end portion. A plurality of first pressure sensors 60 are disposed in a manner that the other end portions of two pipe members 40 or pipe members 50 are connected to one, and can output a signal corresponding to a pressure inside of the corresponding fuel injection valve 30 by detecting the pressure inside of the pipe members 40 and 50. A characteristic detecting portion 71 detects the fuel injection characteristic of the fuel injection valve 30 on the basis of the signal output by the first pressure sensor 60. An abnormality determination portion 701 can determine presence or absence of abnormality of the first pressure sensor 60 on the basis of the signals output by the plurality of first pressure sensors 60. An output correction portion 702 corrects the output of the signals from the first pressure sensor 60 whose abnormality is determined by the abnormality determination portion 701, on the basis of the signals output by the plurality of first pressure sensors 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
