Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: an organic EL material which is suitable for the production by a printing method because of excellent solubility in solvents, and which enables highly efficient light emission because of high triplet energy; an organic EL element using this organic EL material; a display element; and a lighting device. The above-mentioned problem is solved by providing: an organic EL material containing a compound that has a specific carbazole skeleton; and an organic EL element and an ink for organic EL elements, each of which comprises the organic EL material. Also provided are a display element and a lighting device, each of which comprises the organic EL element.
