Abstract:
To provide a charge control device capable of avoiding over-charging and over-discharging of a lithium-ion battery inside an apparatus, and reducing the number of charging times so as to delay the end of life and decrease in capacity of the lithium ion battery, when using after maintaining connection of the apparatus having a lithium ion battery such as a smart phone or a tablet to a fixed power supply for a long time.SOLUTION: A charge control device comprises: a current measurement part and a voltage measurement part each of which is connected between a charge power feeding part and an apparatus having a lithium ion battery; a disconnection part for disconnecting electrical connection between the charge power feeding part and the apparatus having the lithium ion battery; and a control part. The control part performs an operation for instructing a disconnecting operation to the disconnection part when detecting switching from constant-current charging to constant-voltage charging after starting a connecting operation at the disconnecting part, and performs the operation for instructing the connecting operation to the disconnection part when detecting a setting voltage or less while continuing charging stop in a case where a charging voltage is measured in every fixed time from time of charging stop by the voltage measurement part, and is the setting voltage or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
