Abstract:
To provide a charging device capable of suppressing variations in residual battery levels of a plurality of electronic devices that are to be charged.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle device 100 can charge two portable terminal devices 90, 92 in parallel while connecting the portable terminal devices 90, 92 with each other, the portable terminal devices 90, 92 operating with built-in secondary batteries. The on-vehicle device 100 comprises: a USB interface unit 60 which connects the two portable terminal devices 90, 92 so that electric power can be supplied to them; a charging circuit 80 that perform charging of the secondary batteries built in the portable terminal devices 90, 92 for a prescribed time; and a power supply setting unit 146 that sets an amount of power to be supplied to each of the two portable terminal devices 90 and 92 from the charging circuit 80 so that the residual battery levels of the two portable terminal devices 90, 92 at the time when the charging time has elapsed on the basis of the charging time will be in a prescribed relation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
