Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging system for radiation cassette that enables radiographic imaging instantly at any time.SOLUTION: A charging device 100 for radiation cassette is used to charge battery packs 40 of a radiation cassette having a radiation detector that generates an image signal responsive to radiation transmitted through an object to be examined. The charging device for radiation cassette includes charging parts 4, 5, 6 that charge three battery packs 40 respectively and a control part 3 that obtains information about the remaining charge amount of the battery packs 40 connected to the respective charging parts and controls the charging parts 4, 5, 6 in such a way that a battery pack(s) 40 having a remaining charge amount smaller than a predetermined target value is (are) charged preferentially.
