Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of crack and others in a hard tip 18 while securing jointing strength of the hard tip 18 sufficiently.SOLUTION: By radiating a fiber laser beam FB to a saw blade base metal 12 side in the vicinity of the boundary part A between the pedestal 16 of the saw blade base metal 12 and a hard tip 18 along the contour of the boundary part A, surfaces of the pedestal 16 of the saw blade base metal 12 and of the hard tip 18 are partially melted so that the hard tip 18 is jointed to the pedestal 16 of the saw blade base metal 12. The irradiation position of the fiber laser beam FB is offset to the saw blade base metal 12 side against the contour of the boundary part A so that a key hole part 22 formed by irradiation of the fiber laser beam FB does not reach the boundary part A and the melting part 24 melted by heat conduction from the key hole part 22 reaches the boundary part A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
