PURPOSE: To obtain a woven fabric having a brilliant surface.
CONSTITUTION: This woven fabric contains a fabric composed of, e.g. silk. The first thin-film layer composed of ITO(indium-tin oxide) is formed on the surface of the fabric by the sputtering and the second thin-film layer composed of Ti is then formed on the surface of the first thin-film layer by the sputtering. Furthermore, the third thin-film layer composed of the ITO is formed on the surface of the second thin-film layer by the sputtering. The woven fabric thus formed is cut into a prescribed size and sewn to provide a KIMONO (Japanese clothes). Furthermore, this woven fabric is not limited to the formation of the KIMONO but may be used for other clothes, ornaments, beddings, etc. These articles include, e.g. a hat, a handbag, a necktie, a handkerchief, a curtain, a ZA-BUTON (a Japanese cushion), a FUTON (a thick bedquilt), etc.
