Abstract:
The invention relates to a foundation (1) and to a method for the vibratory driving of a foundation (1) into a subsoil (MB) by the introduction of high-frequency vibrations that are produced by means of a vibration device (8) fastened to the foundation (1), the vibrations resulting in a liquefaction of the subsoil so that the foundation can penetrate the subsoil. According to the invention, the foundation (1) is provided with a coating (4) in the penetration step which consists of a material such as bentonite that can liquefy as the result of vibrations and then harden again.
