To provide an inexpensive cleaning device having a roll brush not reversely rotated and dropping raked dust easily in a dust box.
The cleaning device includes a casing 2 opening at the bottom, the roll brush 3 rotatably pivoted on both side walls near one end of the casing, the dust box 4 formed on the other end side in the casing, except the brush side, a lid 5 freely moved to close an opening of the dust box, and a dust raking mechanism 10 provided near one end of the upper inside of the casing, raking dust sticking to the brush when the brush is rotated in a predetermined rotational direction, and preventing the reverse rotation of the brush when the brush intends to rotate in a direction opposite to the predetermined rotational direction.
