PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel plate cleaning device which unfailingly removes foreign objects, does not cause a user to worry about durability, enables continuous operation for several tens of thousands of hours, and achieves low running costs.SOLUTION: A steel plate cleaning device includes: a brush roll 10 for removing foreign objects on a surface of a steel plate; a first nozzle 11 which jets a cleaning oil Y to the brush roll 10 from the upstream side of the brush roll 10; a second nozzle 12 which is disposed at the downstream side of the brush roll 10 and jets the cleaning oil Y to the surface of the steel plate; cleaning oil pumping pressure tanks T, T for supplying the cleaning oil Y to the first nozzle 11 and the second nozzle 12; and tank switching means which sequentially switches the pressure tanks T, T.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
