Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cleaning effect and energy-saving performance even in a heat exchanger to which dirt including slime, dust and the like is deposited, by relatively simple method and device constitution.SOLUTION: In cleaning at least a heat exchanger 8 in a chiller M including: a cooling liquid circuit 2 for cooling a cooled object C by circulating cooling liquid W contained in a cooling liquid tank 3 to the cooled object C; and a refrigeration cycle 4 for cooling the cooling liquid W by the heat exchanger 8 by connecting a compressor 5, a condenser 6, an expansion valve 7 and the heat exchanger 8 to circulate a refrigerant, a prescribed amount of air A is supplied into a pipe 9ru of the cooling liquid W disposed in an upstream side of the heat exchanger 8, and in this state, a liquid feed pump 10 in the cooling liquid circuit 2 is operated for a prescribed time Tc, so that aeration cleaning is performed at least to the heat exchanger 8 by slug flow Q including bubbles Ab generated by the air A and the cooling liquid W.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
