Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning method which makes a clogged part of a filter effectively cleaned and which enables appropriate drainage.SOLUTION: A method for cleaning a filter film for use in filtration of seawater includes the steps of: soaking the filter film in a cleaning fluid in which the concentration of sodium hypochlorite is in the range of 100-500 ppm and in which the concentration of salt is 0.5% or more; and performing dechlorination by adding sodium thiosulfate after the soaking step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
