PURPOSE: To provide a paper sheet feeding tray with which a deformation of a back fence member and damage of a tray seat plate elevating mechanism are not produced even when a paper sheet bundle is not set at a specified posi tion.

CONSTITUTION: In a paper sheet feeding tray in which the uppermost sheet of a paper sheet bundle 5 stored on a tray bottom plate is fed out by a sheet feeding means 8 and which is provided with a back fence 10 to separate in double feeding by a double feeding separation means and to restrict the rear end of a sheet returned back to the paper sheet bundle, the back fence 10 is formed in a cylinder of small diameter by winding multiple turns of rigid wire material spirally around it so that a spring-like material with a big elastic force can be obtained.
