Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealant composition for a photoelectric conversion element capable of forming a film which protects an electrode of a dye-sensitized solar cell or the like having an auxiliary electrode layer formed on a base material from an electrolytic solution and iodine or the like.SOLUTION: A sealant composition for a photoelectric conversion element contains: (A) a hydrogenated novolac epoxy resin; (B) a hydrogenerated epoxy resin and/or an epoxy resin which is liquid at ordinary temperature selected from the group consisting of an aromatic epoxy resin having no hydroxyl group in one molecule; and (C) a cationic initiator. The (A) component is contained by 20-80 pts.mass per 100 pts.mass in total of the (A) and (B) components.
