Abstract:
To provide a coil component which can obtain high magnetic permeability and has good high frequency characteristics.SOLUTION: A coil component includes an element body including a coil conductor formed by winding a conducting wire coated with an insulating film and a magnet body part containing metal magnetic body particles and a resin, and an external electrode which is connected to an exposure surface exposed to the surface of the element body of a lead-out part of the coil conductor and is arranged on the surface of the element body, wherein as for the metal magnetic body particles, large metal magnetic body particles which are more than at least one bottom in particle size distribution of the metal magnetic body particles and have a recess satisfying a predetermined condition in a cross section are defined as second metal magnetic body particles 42, large metal magnetic body particles having no recess are defined as first metal magnetic body particles 40, and large metal magnetic body particles less than the bottom are defined as third metal magnetic body particles 44.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
