Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin processor and a coin processing method capable of improving the efficiency of coin collection work.SOLUTION: Loose coins received from the outside are stored in a loose coin storing and delivering unit 17 for a prescribed quantity, and after that, a first surplus coin processing is performed where surplus coins are stored in a packed coin storing and delivering unit 24 as packed coins, and a second surplus coin processing is performed where the packed coins are stored up to a prescribed quantity in the packed coin storing and delivering unit 24, and then, the surplus coins are stored in a coin collection box 18. After the surplus coins are stored in the coin collection box 18 for a prescribed quantity, a third and a fourth surplus coin processing are performed where the surplus coins are made the packed coins in a packaging unit 23 and stored up to a fully filled state in a packed coin collection box 27 and the packed coin storing and delivering unit 24.
