Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin processor which minimizes discharging of forged coins, etc., housed in the coin processor to a customer and recovering it to send them to a financial facility by maintaining the receiving ratio of a true coin as a true coin. SOLUTION: The coin processor is provided with a coin identifying means having plural identification levels for identifying fed-in coins, an operation mode confirming means for confirming the operation mode of a device, and an identification level switching means for switching the identification level of the coin identification means to that corresponding to the confirmed operation mode. Since the identification level switching means is provided, the fed-in coin can be identified at an identification level according to the operation mode by switching the identification level in accordance with the operation mode.
