PURPOSE: To make detergent compositions contg. such granules have excellent peroxide and enzyme stablity by making each granule not contain easily oxidizable org. materials and contain a manganese complex catalyst, and optionally an inert salt and a binding agent.

CONSTITUTION: Each granule is free from easily oxidisable org. materials, and the bleach catalyst composition in the form of non-friable composite granules, comprising i) 0.5-8 wt.% a manganese complex catalyst, ii) 0-90 wt.% an inert salt (e.g. sodium carbonate) selected from a chloride, carbonate and the mixture thereof and iii) 5-91 wt.% a binding agent selected from an aq., oxidation- resistant polymer, an alkali metal silicate, a satd. fatty acid soap mixture and the mixture thereof, is obtained.
