Abstract:
To stably pile up a paper bundle in a state where a boundary is clear without lowering quality of it, relating to a collator comprising a function where the boundary of the paper bundle after discharging is made clear.SOLUTION: A plurality of shelves 20a, 20b, ... 20 having paper trays for loading paper sheets 101a, 101b are provided in a lengthwise direction, and paper bundles 101 in which a plurality of kinds of paper sheets fed from each shelf are collated into one are continuously discharged from a discharge port 12 to pile up, in a collator 1A. The collator comprises a folding roll 11 being a left-and-right sorting mechanism at a conveying path until discharging the collated paper bundles 101. By the left-and-right sorting mechanism, a conveyance line for conveying the paper bundles 101 is laterally moved with a predetermined width to left and right alternately for each one bundle, so that piling in sections for piling up the discharged paper bundles 101 while shifting to left and right can be executed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
