Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of improving color reproducibility while maintaining a pure color, as much as possible.SOLUTION: A color conversion device comprises: a conversion section converting an input coordinate value of an input color space dependent on a first device into an output coordinate value of an output color space dependent on a second device via a device independent color space; a pure colorization range setting section receiving setting of a pure colorization range for converting a coordinate value of a first pure color axis into a coordinate value of a second pure color axis of the output color space in a direction of the first pure color axis of a pure colorization object in the input color space; and a correction section correcting the output coordinate value regulated by initial correspondence between the input coordinate value and the output coordinate value such that the coordinate value of the first pure color axis of the input color space is converted into the coordinate value of the second pure color axis of the output color space in the pure colorization range set.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
