Abstract:
To provide a method for detecting combustion failure in a radiant tube burner, capable of detecting the presence/absence of combustion failure with accuracy, in a heat treatment furnace comprising a plurality of radiant tube burners.SOLUTION: A heat treatment furnace 10 having n pieces of radiant tube burners 20 in the same combustion control group, measures and saves time series data of oxygen concentration of exhaust gas discharged from each radiant tube burner 20, obtains the degree of variation in oxygen concentration measured at the same timing in the time-series data corresponding to each radiant tube burner 20, and detects combustion failure of the radiant tube burner 20 based on the degree of variation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
