Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the possibility of remotely restoring a communication device in a low power consumption state.SOLUTION: A communication device switches the operation mode of the communication device between a first operation mode and a second operation mode that consumes less power than the first operation mode; and determines whether or not switching from the second operation mode to the first operation mode is allowed in response to receiving a predetermined packet from another communication device. When it is determined that switching from the second operation mode to the first operation mode is allowed in response to receiving the predetermined packet, the communication device switches the operation mode of the communication device from the first operation mode to the second operation mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
