Abstract:
To provide a composite device which can contribute to miniaturization of an air conditioner for vehicle and the like and effectively deal with reduction in a withstanding voltage in the time of a low temperature of a power switching element used for control and supply of power.SOLUTION: A composite device 1 having a refrigerant compressing function and a heating medium heating function comprises: first power switching elements Q1-Q6 which control electric conduction to an electric motor 4 that drives a compression mechanism 3 that compresses a refrigerant; and second power switching elements Q7, Q8 which control electric conduction to an electric heater 5 that heats a heating medium. A switching frequency of the second power switching elements Q7, Q8 is set to be lower than a switching frequency of first power switching elements Q1-Q6, and a switching speed of the second power switching elements Q7, Q8 is set to be slower than a switching speed of the first power switching elements Q1-Q6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
