PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new low molecular weight compound which target is ryanodine receptor (RyR).SOLUTION: A compound is in a specific group having Ar-furan-CH=N as a consensus structure and can be used for treatment of neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer's disease (AD), Parkinson's disease, Huntington disease, frontotemporal dementia, and brain damages such as traumatic brain damage (TBI), associated recognition disorder and CTE (chronic traumatic brain disorder).SELECTED DRAWING: None
