Abstract:
To provide a concrete pile with improved flexural capacity and toughness compared with conventional ones without including an outer shell steel pipe.SOLUTION: A concrete pile comprises a hollow cylindrical pile body which includes concrete in at least a part. The pile body has an outer peripheral surface not covered with metallic material in an intermediate part in an axial direction of the pile body. The pile body satisfies a relationship presented by the following formula: 0.24≤tc/D<0.5, in which D is an outer diameter of the pile body, tc is thickness of the pile body and tc/D is a diameter thickness ratio.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
