Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a means of accurately measuring the braking power, or the treading power of the person being tested using this device structured so that a braking power is applied to a rotating body rotated by the treaded pedals.
CONSTITUTION: A magnetrostictive torque sensor 60 is fixed to a power transmission system transmitting power from a rotating body to a braking power generation means to measure the transmission torque. The treading power, or the physical fitness of the person being tested is hereby quantitatively and accurately measured using this device.
