Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector reducing a number of components, and a connector portion.SOLUTION: A connector 10 has one and the other connector portions 11 and 11A. The one and the other connector portions 11 and 11A have male and female same type contacts 12 and 12A, and male and female same type housings 29 and 29A. The contacts 12 and 12A are provided with contacting portions 22 and 22A. Surfaces 30 and 30A on a side orthogonal to connecting directions of housings 29 and 29A have upper stage surfaces 31 and 31A, lower stage surfaces 32 and 32A, and wall surface portions 33 and 33A. The contacting portions 22 and 22A of the contacts 12 and 12A are projected out from the lower stage surfaces 32 and 32A, and lock mechanisms 52 are provided on both sides in the connecting directions of the housings 29 and 29A. When the one and the other connector portions 11 and 11A are connected, the lower stage surfaces 32 and 32A of the housings 29 and 29A come close to each other, and the contacting portions 22 and 22A of the contacts 12 and 12A are contacted, and fixed by the lock mechanisms 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
