Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for a contact lens care capable of effectively exerting a bactericidal action by a polyhexanide and/or a salt thereof even after storage, and capable of maintaining an excellent external appearance, causing no white turbidity with age.SOLUTION: A composition for a contact lens care is prepared by combining (A) at least one selected from a group consisting of polyhexanide and a salt thereof, (B) polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene glycol, (C) at least one selected from a group consisting of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and a salt thereof, and (D) 0.04-0.2w/v% of at least one selected from the group consisting of ethylenediamine acetic acid, a derivative thereof or salts of these.SELECTED DRAWING: None
