Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition in which the unpleasant odor and the unpleasant taste of Serenoa repens extract are reduced, and to provide a method for masking the unpleasant odor and the unpleasant taste of Serenoa repens extract.SOLUTION: The invention provides a composition in which Peucedanum japonicum extract and Serenoa repens fruit extract are contained at a weight ratio of 1:21-2:5, and the unpleasant odor and the unpleasant taste of Serenoa repens fruit extract are reduced by Peucedanum japonicum extract. The invention also provides a method for masking the unpleasant odor and the unpleasant taste of Serenoa repens fruit extract by mixing Peucedanum japonicum extract and Serenoa repens extract. The invention is particularly useful in food field and the field of oral pharmaceuticals.
