Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compounds, compositions, methods, and kits and assays for the modulation of cell signaling, particularly at least one of the control and regulation of growth factor signaling.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, there are provided growth factor-directed agents (GDAs), which act as either an antagonist or an agonist of cell signaling, particularly in the TGF-β and related extracellular matrix signaling pathways.
