Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a volume hologram recording medium exhibiting various functions possessed by fine particles and easiness of processability and the molding property possessed by a polymer, and having reduced shrinkage in polymerization.SOLUTION: A composition for volume hologram recording material is provided, in which interference fringes induced by interference of coherent light are recorded as differences in a refractive index. The composition for a volume hologram recording material comprises (a) an allyl alcohol derivative having at least two allyl groups, (b) a thiol compound having at least two mercapto groups, and (d) a branching polymer having a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of 500 to 5000000 in terms of polystyrene measured by gel permeation chromatography.
