Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact tip for welding electric power supply for improving electric condition abrasion when used in a large electric current area.SOLUTION: A contact tip comprises a substantially cylindrical tip body 11 and a wire insertion hole 12 provided by penetrating through the axis of the tip body, and the tip body is composed of a pair of divided tip members 14 and 15 formed in a half split shape in the axial direction, and mutual mating surfaces 13 are oppositely combined, and the mating surfaces of the divided tip member are inclined and arranged in a welding torch so that a clearance between the mating surfaces of the divided tip member is set to a rear end part clearance>a tip part clearance, and the wire insertion hole is formed by opposing a wire insertion groove 16 formed in the longitudinal direction of the mating surfaces of the pair of divided tip members, and a heat resistant and abrasion resistant addition alloy 13b is fixed to a tip part of the wire insertion groove, and the tip body is arranged in the welding torch T by inclining the mating surfaces of the divided tip member, so that electric power is supplied from the addition alloy 13b to an inserting wire W.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
